5th Annual
Operation Mercury International 5K

2025's theme is "Mission Objectives"

For too long the veteran community has suffered with the stigma of "well that person has it worse than me" type thinking. There is no hierarchy of suffering. All veterans and servicemembers can experience things that will cause depression or PTSD or anxiety that lead to suicidal ideations.

This year's theme is Mission Objectives. Our mission is to prevent suicide, and tackle the stigma of mental illness by doing it as a team. You are not alone, no one is. And just like you couldn't meet the next objective without your team, we cannot do this alone either.

Details:
Anyone can participate in an Operation Mercury ruck/walk, not just veterans
Only veterans or servicemembers can LEAD a walk, unless its another organization leading one. In that example, that organization can designate a civilian to lead their if no other veteran or servicemember is available.
Each ruck/walk leader must have a 5k route chosen before registering.
THIS IS NOT A FUNDRAISER, AND NO ONE WHO IS LEADING A RUCK/WALK CAN FUND RAISE OFF THIS EVENT. MONEY IS NOT THE PURPOSE HERE.

Locations will be listed in the event link above as they are registered.

August 22, 2021, 22 Until None along with partner organizations, hosted 39 rucks in 8 countries on 4 continents all on the same day. Operation Mercury was born as a project joining forces with allied veterans and the community across the globe against veteran suicide, support for the veteran community and camaraderie. Even more people did their own rucks in addition to the hosted walks. This project was created for the passion we all share for helping veterans and the military community.
